Educare Program

Ritenour values the important role area childcare providers play in the healthy development of children. Educare is a special program that offers services and activities to support area daycare centers and in-home childcare providers.

Educare offers services to help prepare children for school:

  • Strategies to begin, expand or improve a home care program.
  • Learning activities to prepare children for school
  • Workshops and meetings with latest childcare information
  • Training seminars about early care and education of young children
  • Assistance to become a state licensed childcare provider
  • Training sessions preparing and receiving payments from the DSS/Family Support Division childcare subsidy program

Educare is a Missouri Early Childhood Care and Education Initiative provided by a Missouri

Division of Social Services Educare Grant and supported by the Ritenour School District.
