Admission & Registration
Families new to the district can register their children at the Ritenour Administrative Center during specific registration dates and times – no more visiting several schools and filling out the same paperwork over and over again. Parents can save more time by starting the registration process on-line, then bring the required papers and court documents such as guardianship, custody, restraining orders, divorce decrees or other such legal material, if applicable to your child, to the Ritenour Administrative Center to complete the registration process on the specified dates.

Students must be 5 years of age on or before July 31 to enroll.
Students must reside with a parent or legal guardian within the Ritenour School District boundaries to attend any Ritenour school. If the family does not know their school attendance area, it can be obtained by visiting our District Map and Attendance Areas page or calling (314) 615-4238.
2011-2012 Registration Hours:
Tuesdays & Thursdays – 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Wednesdays – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Parents complete registration by bringing the following documents to the Administrative Center during registration hours:
- State-certified birth certificate
- Current Immunization and medical records* (proof of state-required vaccinations)
- Proof of residency – An occupancy permit/lease and one current utility bill showing name and address
- State Photo ID of enrolling parent or guardian
- Legal Guardianship or Legal Custody documents (if applicable)
- Name and Address of previous school (s) attended
- Child’s social security card (optional)
- Current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) (if applicable)
- Previous High School Records (if applicable)
After enrolling, each child’s transcript and discipline record is requested from their prior school.
Once a student is enrolled in the district, all information is kept in the student data system. Student information is automatically transferred to the school of attendance. However, for safety and communication purposes, parents or guardians are asked to provide their child’s school, all updated registration or emergency information as needed.
Children, K through 12th grade, are required to be up-to-date with all immunizations and physical exams, if needed, prior to the first day of school.
