Matthew Berry, a counselor at Ritenour Middle School, has been named Middle School Counselor of the year by the St. Louis Suburban School Counselor Association (SLSSCA). He was surprised with the honor by district and school administrators on Jan. 13
Ritenour School District Coordinator of Professional Learning Evelyn Gilliam received the School Library Advocate of the Year Award from the Greater St. Louis School Librarians, an affiliate of the Missouri Association of School Librarians.
At a special meeting last night (Sept. 22), the Ritenour Board of Education approved our plan to have students in grades K-3 return to hybrid in-person learning in our schools. Our preschool students at the Ritenour School for Early Childhood Education will return in person with no virtual learning option.
The Ritenour Prize Patrol made its debut for the 2020-2021 school year on Sept. 10 to surprise Matthew Berry, a counselor at Ritenour Middle School, with the news that he is the top counselor in the state of Missouri.
Beginning Aug. 31, breakfast and lunch will be delivered each morning to students at bus stops throughout the Ritenour School District.
As students return to learning on Aug. 31, our district will be starting the school year in Phase 3 - full-time virtual learning for grades K-12.
