The Ritenour School District has extended the closure of our schools through April 22, 2020. Our schools began home learning on Monday, March 30. We will be sending updates with information and resources via email, text messages, the Ritenour website and social media.
Moving forward, our staff members will continue to closely monitor reports and remain in contact with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health.
Any calls for basic COVID-19 information should be directed to Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. As the spread of the pandemic continues to rise in our area, and after consulting with district administrators who have been regularly in touch with St. Louis County officials regarding COVID-19 conditions, it is with a heavy heart that I share with you that the RHS 2020 Prom is canceled.
The Ritenour Child Nutrition Department will continue to provide breakfast and lunch grab & go style meals for Ritenour students as long as Ritenour schools are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All Ritenour School District buildings, fields, tracks and playgrounds are closed until further notice so that we can help do our part in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
After a meeting with St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page and other districts across the region, the Ritenour School District agreed to extend the closure of our schools through April 22, 2020.
