Christina Andrade Melly, a Ritenour High School English language arts teacher and 2021 Diamond Circle Teacher of the Year, is the fifth Ritenour educator in the last nine years to be recognized at the state level for excellence in teaching.
To make the transition easier for students entering kindergarten, sixth grade and ninth grade, as well as for students who attend Husky Academy and the International Welcome Center, Ritenour is hosting special Transition Day activities on Thursday, Aug. 18 to acclimate them to their new schools.
