Hi, I’m Ms. K.! This is my tenth year teaching and my seventh year at Kratz. I’ve taught third and fourth grade in Saint Louis and in Colorado Springs. I love coming to school everyday and having fun with amazing fourth graders! When I’m not at school, I like to go on hikes with my perfect pup, Poppy, and make things- anywhere from a new recipe to furniture. This year is going to be different but I know it will be so great! We’ll learn lots of new things and have an amazing time with each other!

My name is Jill Mendel.  I am a 4th grade teacher at Kratz.  I have been teaching at Kratz for the past 30 years. My experience also includes teaching 3rd, 5th and gifted education.  I enjoy teaching as much now as I did when I first started teaching many years ago.  My husband and two grown boys keep me busy, but  in my spare time I like to read, travel and play with my dog Roxie.

Hello, families! My name is Kayla Silvagnoli, and I am one of the 4th grade teachers at Kratz Elementary. This is my second year at Kratz and my seventh year teaching. Before coming to Kratz, I taught in another Saint Louis area district and in Mississippi. I enjoy helping students learn and explore new ideas! When I am not working, I am most likely reading, running, or traveling. I look forward to a great year learning together.
