    My name is Megan DeVore and this will be my seventh year teaching! I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and I am currently working towards getting my master's in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Math/Science from there as well. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I have a dog named Maui who I love to go on walks with. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, reading, and cooking. I’m excited about having another amazing year filled with learning and fun in 3rd grade!

    My name is Jacqueline McGill.  I am excited to join the Wyland community this year as a 3rd-grade teacher.  I received my bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and my masters from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  During my 23 years of teaching, I have taught grades 1-6 in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

    The McGill family consists of my mom, 2 brothers, 3 nieces and 3 nephews; 2 Godchildren + 4 God-grandsons, and 3 God-granddaughters.  I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and sorority sisters.  My personal adventures include community service, theatre, reading, singing, and traveling. 

    I’m looking forward to our classroom community adventures this school year – building relationships and learning.

    Hello and Welcome to Third Grade! My name is Mrs. Murillo. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and your families this year! We are going to have a fantastic year together! 

    I have been a teacher for 22 years now! Most of those years have been at Wyland. The first five years were in SLPS. I have taught third grade for 21 years. It is the best grade ever!  I was a kindergarten teacher for one year, which was so much fun!  I even had some of you in my virtual kindergarten class!

    I received my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Idaho, in Moscow, Idaho. I received my Master’s Degree at  Washington University, in Saint Louis. This summer I received my Masters +30 after taking two online courses through Lindenwood. Basically, I have been in school for a really, really long time!

    Some of my favorite things to do are traveling, reading books, taking pictures, and spending time with my family. I love the colors blue, orange, and pink. I can’t say no to a good coffee and my favorite store is Target.

    My husband, Oscar and I just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary this summer! We have two boys. Myles is 10 and Oliver is 6. My husband and I like watching movies and spending time with the boys. We have one cat named Sake. He loves to sleep everywhere except on his cat bed:)

    My name is Jake Sandman and I will be teaching third grade this year.  This will be my seventh year teaching.  I graduated from  Mizzou with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Reading from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Webster University. 

    I have been married to my wife, Annie, for four years and together we have two sons named Cameron and Mac.  We also have two dogs, Deuce and Ella.  In my free time, I love to exercise.  I also love music, sports, and movies. I am truly looking forward to teaching third grade this year!
