Nate Laffoon
Lafoonn@ritenourschools.orgHi! My name is Mr. Laffoon. Welcome to fourth grade. I am so excited about this school year. This is my twelfth year teaching, and third year as a Wyland Dolphin! I previously taught for ten years in Mid-Missouri. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Education with a Major in Educational Leadership. This school year will be filled with fun, lots of learning, and new adventures. I love teaching and spending time with family and friends. I love to be in the outdoors and love city life. I have one older brother and one nephew.
I have a sweet six-year-old Mini Schnauzer named Tucker! You will hear lots of stories about him this year.

My husband and I have been married for 16 years, and we have two children. I enjoy working out, and I enjoy hiking the many Missouri trails and parks with my family.
Reading and movies are two of my favorite ways to spend my free time!

leighy@ritenourschools.orgHello new friends! My name is Mrs. Leigh. I have been teaching for 25 years, ten of those years have been as a 4th grade teacher in the Ritenour School District. 4th graders are so much fun and I look forward to getting to know you. I can't wait to explore Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies with you this year!
I have been married for 34 years. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I love to travel, especially to see my grandchildren in Michigan. When I am not traveling, I love to read. Last May, I got my Masters in TESOL(Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). Proof that you are never too old to learn new things!!
