Hello!  My name is Maria Fisher, and this is my second year teaching music at Marion Elementary.  I also teach the strings program and our after-school choir.  Music is my passion, and I believe that a quality music education is essential in shaping well-rounded, compassionate students!  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy walking my Frenchie, playing piano, and travelling.  Marion has a wonderful musical community, and I am so excited to be making, sharing, and exploring music with all of you again this year!

Hello! My name is Dillon Hodges and I am the art teacher at our school. This will be my second year at Marion Elementary. Of all of the professions in our world I choose to become an art teacher because of my passion for art along with my passion for helping children learn. I plan to introduce the amazing world of art to my future students. My greatest hope is to help the youth of today realize their true creative potential. I cannot wait to see the creative minds at work in my future classrooms.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends as much as possible. I also enjoy many other activities like watching movies, playing video games, spending time outdoors, reading, and of course, spending time with my two amazing cats, Apollo and Athena. I can’t wait to see all of our students again as well as meet many new faces who will be new to our school. Let’s have a great year!

Hello!  My name is Rob Duello and I have been teaching Health and P.E. for sixteen years and I am starting my eighth at Marion.  My passion is for sports especially football and baseball, I played both in college and spent a lot of years as a high school coach for both.  My favorite form of exercise is lifting weights and we will be incorporating some of those principles in our virtual learning this year.  When I’m not teaching I’m usually with my son doing my best to help him become the best man he can be and cultivating his passion for baseball and hockey.  I’m looking forward to the new year, and all the challenges it will bring!
