    PICTURE THE MUSIC AWARD
    Sponsored by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, fifth-grade students combined their love for music and art as part of a unique program called "Picture the Music."
    Ritenour student artwork was selected from more than 16,000 entries from 85 schools.  Student artwork was displayed at the Saint Louis Science Center in April.

    SPIRIT ESSAY CONTEST WINNER
    SPIRIT (School-based Prevention Intervention and Resources IniTiative) is a state-funded program led by prevention educators from PreventEd.  Fifth-grade students were asked to write an essay explaining how the program impacted their or other students' lives.

    MARVIN'S YEARBOOK COVER DESIGN
    Marvin Elementary students were asked to submit designs for the school's yearbook cover. 
    One design was selected to be on the cover of the yearbook this year.

    RITENOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT HOLIDAY CARD DESIGN
    Each year, a Ritenour school is chosen to submit artwork for the district holiday card.
    This year, Marvin Elementary provided several outstanding pieces of art. One is selected to
    be featured on the card, which is distributed by the district to thousands of individuals,
    businesses and educational organizations.
