NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
The National Junior Honor Society is the leader among organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service. The NJHS member exhibits academic achievement, leadership, honorable and admirable character, citizenship and service that demonstrates the member is willing to use his or her talents and skills for the improvement of his/her school and society.”
Each year, the Special Olympics offers Olympic-style athletic events for K-12 students.
Ritenour is proud to recognize those students who competed in this year’s Olympics.

E. DESMOND LEE FINE ARTS
Talented students with outstanding musical skills are nominated by Ritenour teachers for selection to the E. Desmond Lee Fine Arts Collaborative. Students who are selected by the Collaborative’s Board of Directors and participate in a day of musical rehearsals followed by a concert featuring choir, orchestra and band middle school students from throughout the St. Louis area.
