Ritenour School District Celebrates 150th Anniversary
The Ritenour School District is planning its biggest party in 150 years! The district has planned a yearlong series of events – with many more to be added throughout the year – to celebrate our 2017 sesquicentennial, or 150th anniversary.
The year 2017 marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Ritenour School District. While our community and district have grown and changed considerably since 1867, our commitment to children, families and the community remain the same.
To commemorate this momentous anniversary, our district has planned many ways to celebrate our proud past, hopeful present and bright future. The upcoming year will be filled with events and special recognitions, bringing together our students, staff, alumni, families and friends.
The anniversary celebration will culminate in the graduation of Ritenour High School’s 100th class in May of 2018.
The Ritenour School District is an equal opportunity employer. The District is also committed to maintaining a workplace and educational environment free from illegal discrimination or harassment in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs, activities and facilities. Discrimination or harassment against employees, students or others on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, age or any other characteristic protected by law is strictly prohibited in accordance with law.
