Welcome to the Ritenour School District! We are extremely proud of our students, staff and supportive community and invite you to join our Ritenour family. Here, we are committed to ensuring every student succeeds every day.
Registration is open for the 2023-2024 school year.
Registration begins with the Student Services Department, located at 2420 Woodson Road, Overland, MO 63114. Students must be 5 years of age on or before July 31 to register for kindergarten. For more information, you may contact us at 314-493-6048. Please leave a message with your name and a current working phone number and someone will return your call.
The hours for registration are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., and again from 1-3 p.m.

Families must provide proof of residency; documentation verifying you own, rent, or lease property in your name in the Ritenour School District boundaries from List A-C below.
If you cannot provide documents in your name, a determination of residency status will be made and a residency waiver might be permitted. The homeowner/leaseholder with whom you are residing must bring the required documentation at the time of registration in their name from List A-C below. The homeowner/leaseholder needs to be present with the parent/legal guardian at the time of registration to sign the residency waiver affidavit.
Families with unusual situations, such as families or students in transition, foster care, or students with unique guardianship circumstances may contact 314-493-6048 for assistance. The following items are requirements to register your new or returning child(ren) in the Ritenour School District:
Criteria for new or returning students:- My student was not enrolled in any Ritenour School District school on the last day of the prior school year.
- Or my child will be attending Kindergarten in the Ritenour School District. (Students must be 5 years of age on or before July 31 to register.)
- Or student was previously enrolled in the Ritenour School District, withdrew, and is now returning.
- Or my child is new to the district since we recently bought or leased a residence in the Ritenour School District.
Valid Photo ID (from owner/leaseholder also, if applicable)
Birth Certificate
Child's immunization record (Check physical exam requirements.)
Proof of Guardianship (Court Appointed Documents, Divorce Decree, DFS Placement, Foster Care Placement, Immigration Documents) if applicable

Regardless of the documents that may be available, simply owning or renting property within district boundaries does not establish residency; the primary criterion is the location of the family's actual domicile. The district has the right to request additional proofs at any time or to employ other means to verify residency. Under Missouri law, misrepresenting residency is a misdemeanor. If a family's residency status changes or is found to be inaccurately represented, the district may act to recover the cost of services provided.

- If you own or lease/rent property in your name, you must show proof of residency from Lists A through C, including a valid photo ID.
- If you do not own or lease/rent property in your name, the owner/lease holder will provide the same documentation. Identification from the parent/guardian will also be required.
