Ritenour No Longer Offering Virtual Learning Options for Students Begining with 2022-2023 School Year

June 8, 2022

Dear Ritenour Families,

The Ritenour School District will no longer be offering Ritenour Virtual Academy for students in grades 1-5 or virtual learning options for grades 6-12 next school year.  This was not an easy decision, but unfortunately, there was not enough interest from students and families for us to continue this program.

Virtual students will automatically be enrolled in in-person classes for the 2022-2023 school year and assigned to their home school.

We know that many of our students experienced great success through our virtual learning programs over the past two school years.  If you wish to continue with online virtual instruction with Edgenuity or Launch for the 2022-2023 school year, please contact Dr. Denean Steward.

For more information and questions about virtual instruction, please email Dr. Denean Steward, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at virtualinformation@ritenourschools.org.

Thank you for your continued support of the Ritenour School District.  Please reach out to Dr. Steward if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Dr. Chris Kilbride
Superintendent
