Third and fourth-graders at Marion Elementary were treated to a virtual visit this week with award-winning children’s author and poet, Zetta Elliott. During Elliott’s inspiring visit, students heard about why she became a writer, the themes in her books and learned about the publishing process. Thanks to The Noble Neighbor for making this visit possible and for using a grant from the Greater St. Louis Book Fair to provide each Marion third- and fourth-grader with copies of Elliott’s first two books in her popular Dragons in a Bag series.
