Ritenour Names Deana Hill Director of Child Nutrition Services
The Ritenour School District is pleased to announce that Deana Hill has been named the Director of Child Nutrition Services. For the past three years, Hill has served as the interim director of the department.
Hill has worked in Ritenour’s Child Nutrition Services department for the past 18 years. Before her role as interim director, she was the food service supervisor for 15 years.
Prior to Ritenour, she had been a food service administrator for Lutheran Senior Services, the Clayton and Francis Howell school districts and at several St. Louis area hospitals.
“We are so excited that Ms. Hill will continue to lead our child nutrition services team,” said Ritenour Superintendent Dr. Chris Kilbride. “She has a wealth of knowledge of Ritenour’s child nutrition services and has created longtime positive relationships with her department’s staff. She is an outstanding leader and has a passion for making sure that our students enjoy healthy, nutritious and delicious meals at school each day.”
“Ms. Hill is leading the way as we create a new vision for our child nutrition program,” Kilbride added. “In the next few months, we will share more information about our plans for the future. Working with our staff, students and families we will work to create updated and inviting cafeteria spaces, as well as food options our students and staff will enjoy.”
