Candidate Filing for 2019 Ritenour Board of Education Election Closes Jan. 15, 2019
Ritenour residents interested in filing candidacy for the Ritenour Board of Education election on April 2, 2019, may do so through Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Ritenour Administrative Center, 2420 Woodson Road, Overland, Mo., 63114. Filing closes at 5 p.m. on this date.
Candidate informational packets and filing guidelines are available. The filing period opened Dec. 11, 2018.
Two positions will be on the ballot this year, as the three-year terms of current board members Jennifer Lohnes and Dr. M. Stacey Albin-Wilson expire in April 2019.
Missouri law requires a person to be a U.S. citizen, at least 24 years of age, a resident taxpayer of the district and to have resided in the state of Missouri for one year immediately preceding the election. Board members serve three-year terms and are not paid for their service.
