Two RHS Seniors Named Finalists for Prestigious Scholarship
Two Ritenour High School seniors have been named finalists for the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship.
Charlie Row and Martin Trujillo Carrazco both have GPAs over 4.0, carrying full academic loads of AP courses and are leaders in several extracurricular clubs. The QuestBridge College Match Scholarship is a highly-selective process that matches top ranked students who have financial need to one of 40 Ivy League and highly selective colleges and universities. Students who receive the scholarship have all expenses paid at their matched college. They will find out in December if they are matched with their first choice.
Row, who hopes to pursue a business major in college, is a member of Mu Alpha Theta math honor society, the school’s RCO outdoor club, business leader of RoboHounds (the school’s robotics club) and co-leader of the school’s social awareness club called Riot Grrrls.
Trujillo Carrazco, who hopes to pursue engineering in college, is co-captain of RoboHounds, president of the Science Club, Content Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperbox and active in Mu Alpha Theta.
