Dr. Tim Streicher Named Principal at Kratz Elementary School
The Ritenour School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tim Streicher as principal at Kratz Elementary School. He has served as the interim administrator in that position since July 1, 2018.
Dr. Streicher is in his 22nd year of serving the Ritenour community. Prior to his position at Kratz he was an assistant principal at Wyland Elementary (2015-2018), principal of Hoech Middle School (2006-2015), an assistant principal at Ritenour High School (2005-2006) and district science facilitator (2002-2004). He began his educational career as a middle school teacher in Ritenour from 1997-2002. Outside of Ritenour, Dr. Streicher spent one year as an assistant principal at Parkway North High School (2004-2005).
“We’re excited that Dr. Streicher will continue to serve as principal at Kratz Elementary,” said Ritenour Superintendent Dr. Kilbride. “He is an experienced school administrator who is committed to providing high quality instruction for all students and values parents as important partners in student learning. He is focused on ensuring that each student achieves success in a learning environment where high expectations are in place every day.”
Dr. Streicher earned his doctorate and educational leadership graduate degree from Saint Louis University. He also holds a master’s degree in education from Maryville University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
