Adult students can earn their high school equivalency certificate or brush up on basic skills like reading and math through the Ritenour School District's Adult Education and Literacy virtual program.
Virtual HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) classes and English language classes are underway.
Students can also obtain the skills necessary to prepare for post-secondary education, improve their proficiency in English and achieve other academic, employment or personal goals. Students must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with 16 high school credits and are no longer attending high school. Prospective students must attend an orientation prior to starting coursework.
All programs are free, including supplies. Adult students may borrow a Chromebook for virtual classes and homework. Morning, afternoon, and evening classes are available Mondays through Fridays.
