Ritenour High School Media Students Earn 18 State Awards for Outstanding Journalism

During an unprecedented year with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ritenour High School’s outstanding journalism students earned 18 state awards in March from the Missouri Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA). The awards reflected work the RHS students journalists created in a full virtual setting from August 2020-February 2021.

“I’m so proud of our media students producing great work during an unprecedented time in education history,” said Jane Bannester, Ritenour High School broadcast teacher. “The act of just being able to get out the media was an award unto itself.”
