Seniors with Perfect Grade-Point Average Honored at Luncheon

Ritenour High School recently recognized 22 seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of at least 4.0 each semester throughout their entire high school careers. The school’s Renaissance Club honored this outstanding group of seniors on May 9 with a luncheon. 

During the luncheon, Superintendent Dr. Chris Kilbride and Principal Dr. Jana Haywood lauded them for their hard work and the sacrifices they have made during their high school career to achieve their perfect GPA and reminded them that their future in college and beyond is bright. Each of the seniors who attended shared their future plans.

Seniors who attended the luncheon were: Shirine Awad, Washington University with a pre-med concentration; Allyson Deckard, Maryville University to study biomedical science; Azariah Estes, University of Missouri-St. Louis to study communications; Michelle Everett, Saint Louis University to study criminology; Charles Farris, University of Missouri-St. Louis to study sports management; Kaitlyn Hurst, undecided; Brandon McGee, University of Missouri-St. Louis to study mechanical engineering; Ashton Miller, St. Olaf College to study psychology; Tess Ostoff, University of Missouri-St. Louis to study nursing; Rachel Robertson, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to study mechanical engineering; Gabriela Rojo, Washington University to study biomedical science; Kelci Sutton, Xavier University of Louisiana to study biology as a pre-med major.

Other seniors who had GPAs of 4.0 or higher are: Salaya Chowdhury, Pearljit Dayal, Lanz Dungo, Marilyn Dunker, Karen Garcia Pintor, Yemil Lopez, Michael Madrid, Santonio Resonno, Caroline Slunaker and Anna Wilson.
