Ritenour School District is offering a free week-long summer camp to help incoming kindergartners transition to their new school from Aug. 1-5, 2022 at each of the district's six elementary schools.
Students must be enrolled in the district to attend the free program. Parents can pick a morning session (8:30 to 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon session (12:30 to 3:30 p.m.) when they register based on their child’s preschool experience. Students must be 5 years old on or before July 31 to register for kindergarten. The weeklong program will introduce students to entry-level kindergarten skills and ease the transition to school. Other benefits include interacting with future classmates and teachers and allowing them to become familiar with their new school.
