Eighteen Ritenour High School Music Students Inducted into Tri-M Honor Society

Danielle HaynesEighteen Ritenour High School senior musicians were inducted into the Tri-M Honor Society on Nov. 8 during a formal ceremony at University of Missouri-St. Louis. Their induction and membership are sponsored by the E. Des Lee Fine Arts Collaborative. 

RHS inductees are: Orchestra students Aundre'A Berry, Autumn Cross, Caroline Groceman and Chloe Sapp; choir member Danielle Haynes; band members James Edwards, Elijah Finch, Jonathan Foster, Lyriel Hanknis, Acacia Helton, Ulises Hernandez, Angela Houghton, Jennifer Huerta Lopez, Jake Pagayonan, Nicolas Rios, Brady Talarski, Maria Ventura Romero and Kyle Williams.

Ritenour is one of five schools that are the charter members of the Des Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative Tri M Chapters. 

Students who were selected were required to meet several eligibility requirements:  GPA, music ensemble involvement/ability, honors ensemble involvement, participation in solo and small ensemble, among others. To maintain membership, students must attend meetings, and contribute positively to their music programs, schools, and communities through their music and community service.  

RHS choir teacher Stephanie Ruggles and orchestra teacher Blake Hernton are co-advisors of the RHS Tri-M Chapter.
