RHS Junior Hope Both Sworn In as New Board of Education Student Representative
Hope Both, a Ritenour High School junior, was sworn in as the student representative on the Ritenour Board of Education at its regular business meeting on May 11, 2023.
Both is the fourth student representative to ever serve on the Board. Her term will expire in April of 2024.
Both says that she hopes to make a difference during her time as Board of Education Student Representative.
"I plan on working with our Board of Education so that student voices can be heard," Both said.
Although student representatives on the school board cannot vote, Both will serve in an advisory position and provide a student perspective on important issues the Board discusses.
“Being a student representative to the Board of Education is a significant responsibility, but it also presents a remarkable opportunity to make a difference in our school community,” said Ritenour Superintendent Dr. Chris Kilbride. “As our student representative, Hope will have a unique opportunity to voice the concerns and perspectives of her fellow students and contribute to important decisions that affect our school district.”
