The Ritenour Board of Education re-elected Dr. Brad Thomas as president and selected Jennifer Lohnes as vice president at its April 13, 2017, meeting.
Thomas is serving his second term as president, after leading the board from 2003-2007. Lohnes has served on the Board since 2016. This will be her first term as vice president.
Penny Degardin, Ruth Bell Greco and Thomas, who were elected to the board in the April 4, 2017 election, were sworn into office at the meeting and will serve three year terms. Tom Drennan and Lisa Glover-Jones were elected to serve the one year unexpired terms of Selena Amerson and Bob Young on April 4. They were also sworn in at the meeting.
Dr. Albin-Wilson will continue serve as the Board's delegate to the Special School District (SSD) Governing Council with Glover-Jones as an alternate delegate. Lohnes will serve as the delegate to the Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA), while Drennan will serve as the alternate delegate.
