The Ritenour School District sent home materials with all students that offer opportunities for them to extend their learning during our district closure:
At the elementary level (grades K-5), Ritenour sent home math books, social studies books, and the Words Their Way book as well as school supplies and books from the school/classroom library. If the closure extends beyond April 3, we plan to mail elementary school families a packet of school activities every two weeks until schools open again.
Teachers at the secondary level, grades 6-12, will be sending home any needed materials as well as posting learning activities online through Google Classroom for students.
Ritenour educators will also have additional online learning opportunities with links that can be accessed on a home computer/ laptop/ Chromebook/ smartphone or other device. All online information will be available after our originally scheduled Spring Break (March 23-27). The district will be sending out additional text messages and emails to families with direct links to that information as it becomes available, as well as other supports for families during these challenging times.
Please encourage your student to continue learning during this time.
